Juarez Mission Trip - Pt 3
This section is all about VBS. Sadly I know almost nothing about what went on since I tend to avoid children's ministry like it will give me a rash.
(Picture: Templo Bethel [pronounced TEM-PLO BET-EL] before we started construction. That grey strip in the middle of the foreground is actually a 2 ft deep ditch)
(Picture: cute little kiddies doing crafts)
(Picture: Kate and my awesome new twin Nicole. She and I became really good friends during the trip. Her dad, Kevin, was also the construction leader for our site)
(Picture: Kate and Amber being waaaaaaay too enthusiastic about snack time!)
(Picture: Puppets! The women in the red shirt is Yolanda, one of the female leaders. She was an absolute God-send. Not only is she a terrific person with a powerful testimony, she is also flawlessly bi-lingual. I can't thank her enough for all her hard work translating for us!) (Picture: The youth learning the actions for the VBS songs. Check out Jeff, second to the left...HAHA)
(Picture: Jeff is so good at the actions!)
(Picture: the banner at the front of the sanctuary. Jesus loves you!)
(Picture: more fun with crafts...and suckers!)
