A Tale of Two Cookies

Last Saturday, I was slammed with homework
and feeling kinda crappy.
Instead of taking the time and energy to cook,
I ordered Chinese food.
With it came two fortune cookies.

I opened the first one and it said:

So I quit doing homework.


The next day, I was eating leftover Chinese food
and watching football

I opened the other fortune cookie and it said:

Well played, fortune cookies.
Well played.
